Brave Emblems & Celtic Patterns

As a Pixar intern, I developed a vector-based workflow for creating the intricate Celtic knotwork, borders, and repeating patterns used throughout Brave. Replacing a labor-intensive hand-rendered process with scalable Illustrator artwork allowed motifs to be edited, reused, and applied efficiently across the sets, costumes, and promotional materials for the film.

Celtic emblems for the four clans and Merida's spiral medallion, inspired by the forms and ornamentation of ancient Celtic tribal motifs.
